Instructions for Resistive Pump Control Unit C-BE06
Carefully check your installation before powering up. Ensure that all connections are correct and clear of water. Cables should be secured and clear of any sharp or abrasive objects or other areas where cables can be damaged.
SW2 is optional and will allow you to manually turn on your pump independently of the Pump Control Unit. All switches and cables must be of a correct rating to suit your pump. If your pump is rated higher than the C-BE06 then a suitable relay can be used which in turn will power the pump.
Nothing will happen when turning on the power. If the pump starts and runs continually - check the wiring. To test the system, immerse the unit in water. There may be a delay of about 30 seconds before the pump starts. Remove from water and the pump should stop after about a minute. If your bilge is dry, check the pump is OK to run for this period of time without damage.
If at anytime the fuse or circuit breaker is triggered, check the system for any faults before resetting. If the C-BE06 shuts down due to over temperature, the unit will automatically re start when it has cooled down.
As with all electrical equipment routine inspections are required. Clean probes and remove any debris from the bilge's which may cause damage or false triggering and inspect your pump for correct operation.
Wiring connections should be as diagram or the system will not work.
