Mets 2012, another successful show for Index Marine.
This years show was very busy for us. We received a lot of very positive feedback and were delighted to appoint new distributors with the result that our distributor network now extends into the Far East. As the UK's exclusive Bulgin marine distributor we were very pleased with the strong interest shown in the new, high spec, Bulgin 6000 series. The range of circular connectors are available with metal or plastic bodies, support both data (USB and Ethernet), signal and mains power and are tested to IP66, IP68 & IP69K standards.
Seawork 2012
Index Marine showed alongside Odeo Flare Ltd at Seawork 2012. The company, which has close links to Index Marine, has developed an innovative handheld laser flare. We where delighted when Odeo Flare won the best innovative product in the safety category and went on to be judged the overall winner, receiving the prestigious Spirit of Innovation Award.

The new Side Entry cable gland from Index Marine has achieved the highest level of British Standard BS EN 60529 for ingress protection. The SE gland achieved the maximum at IP68. This standard certifies the level of dust and watertight protection that the gland offers, providing the user with the confidence that the electrical installation is fully protected.
